A subtle-ish overhaul of vanilla Overworld biomes.
No points lost.
60.9 of the 61 points that apply = 99.8, so 99 out of 100: only a project that lost no point gets 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Geophilic is a datapack that refreshes vanilla Overworld biomes with light-touch changes, aiming to add variety while preserving vanilla progression and feel rather than creating a major world-generation overhaul. Its additions include fallen trees, forest clearings, boulders, tree stumps, bushes, and moss, while keeping vanilla blocks and biome-appropriate wood types. Trees remain recognizably vanilla, though they can generate taller, and the project adds no new blocks, items, or biomes. The overhaul covers almost every non-ocean biome; examples include forests, birch and dark forests, deserts, badlands, jungles, meadows, plains, savannas, swamps, and taigas. Datapack Toolkit can be used to configure Geophilic, and its changes to vanilla biome files are compatible with terrain-generation mods such as Tectonic and Lithosphere.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Runs no function files.
Changes world generation: 31 biomes and decorations such as trees and ores.
Adds 207 files in other folders.
Replaces 29 of vanilla Minecraft's world generation files.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
