    About

    Particular Reforged enriches Minecraft’s ambience with hand-crafted visual effects that respond to the surrounding environment and player actions. Water effects include colored 3D splashes whose size reflects an entity’s width and the height of its fall, waterfall cascades shaped by the falling water and open sides of its source, and ripples from rain and drips. Fireflies appear around flowers and tall grass in warm biomes, with randomized dusk spawning, while falling leaves have block-specific particles and can ripple water when they land. Cave dust varies with depth and sunlight, and opening underwater chests or barrels releases bubbles; Ender chests emit green-tinted bubbles, and soul sand beneath a chest can make it open automatically and release bubbles. Other effects include popping bubbles, particles when eating cake, and emissive lava drips. The mod supports custom falling leaves for Traverse, Regions Unexplored, and Wilder Wild, and lets players disable effects or choose biomes where cave dust will not spawn. Configuration also supports water-like fluids and custom waterfall fluid pairs, plus custom firefly biomes, spawn blocks, and colors; fireflies can be enabled for specified biomes regardless of temperature.
