    Advanced Chat adds configurable multiplayer chat tools, including separate channels such as world, local, or staff chat, with rules that determine who can join and receive each channel’s messages. Channel rules can use predicates to select message recipients, while placeholders customize channel prefixes and optional actionbar text; players can switch channels or send a message in a channel without switching. Players can ignore others, hiding their messages and preventing those players from sending them private messages, and can also reply to the last person they messaged. Staff can use social spy to monitor private messages, channel messages, or both, and choose which kinds of spy messages to receive. An optional text filter can screen received chat, commands, signs, and books using specified words or regular-expression patterns. An optional anti-spam system can impose a delay between messages and block repeated or highly similar messages.
