About
AdvancedAE extends Applied Energistics 2 with tools for automating, monitoring, and managing an ME system. Advanced Pattern Providers use an Advanced Pattern Encoder to direct each processing-pattern input to a chosen machine face, reducing the need for multiple pipes or dedicated machine sides. Its Quantum Computer can run concurrent crafting tasks that share the multiblock’s co-processors; a Quantum Core provides 256M storage and eight co-processors on its own, while Quantum Data Entanglers and Quantum Multi-Threaders multiply multiblock storage and co-processors, respectively, and the multiblock uses one channel. The Quantum Crafter performs sequences of crafts each tick from the ME inventory, including recursive crafting and recipes that reuse non-consumed ingredients, and can retain ingredient stacks or limit the amount of finished goods kept in stock. The Quantum Armor connects to the ME system and combines strong defense with utility features such as inertia-free flight, night vision, item magnetism, automatic feeding from ME storage, and protection from various damage sources. A power-hungry Reaction Chamber efficiently processes materials, including items used for progression in AdvancedAE and recipes for other mods. Its bus options include a Stock Export Bus that maintains an item limit, an Import Export Bus that imports outputs while supplying machines, and an Advanced IO Bus that combines stocking and importing with regulated exports; the Advanced IO Bus is eight times faster than the other buses. The ME Throughput Monitor tracks item, fluid, and FE energy flows and can display rates per tick, second, or minute.
