Alchemist's Garden expands the Overworld with magical plants, creatures, blocks, and dungeons, while keeping its new mechanics close to vanilla Minecraft. Its plants are both hazards and resources: Creep Orchids can explode, Bubblis bubbles can extinguish players and briefly enable underwater breathing, Ember Weed burns like fire, and Cloudelions grant levitation. To gather the plants, players first craft a Leather Glove, then use gardening items such as Mixed Soil and Mixed Soil Pots to plant them in suitable places and grow more with bone meal. Plant properties feed into crafting and combat, including rings made from Ember Weed, Cloudelions, Glow Fungi, Toxic Caps, and Blood Roses, and weapons such as the Brambler, which summons thorny roots beneath its target. Advancements guide progression through dungeons and boss encounters: the Gnome King is summoned at the Royal Burrow in a buried, multi-floor den, while the Spider Queen is released from a Webby Keyhole in the Spider Pit. These bosses have distinct threats: the Gnome King calls Gnomes to help, regenerates health, and creates explosions, while the Spider Queen summons Spiderlings and spits acid that forms poisonous puddles. The Spider Pit can be explored for loot before its boss is summoned, and the Gnome King Den hides traps, secrets, and a treasure room behind narrow tunnels. Rare Alpha Shrooms roam forests as mini-bosses, charging players and fleeing when hit, and provide Glittering Spores used to upgrade or repair certain items. Seasonal Christmas content adds a fireplace, the Frost Army encounter, and the Festive Gnome trader, who exchanges Snowflakes for items including a sack that can yield minions and other rewards. In the Bumblezone, the mod's flowers can spawn, Pollen Puffs can encourage mushrooms to grow, and the Bezoar Stone can remove poison.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
