Ancient Warfare 2: Tweaked is an unofficial update to Ancient Warfare 2 that focuses on more immersive faction NPCs while adding quality-of-life changes, bug fixes, and configurable behavior. Faction reputation can shift when you kill members of another faction, with configurable rules for which factions gain standing and how much; Orcs remain hostile but respect players who defeat them, while the Empire, Norska, Sarkonid, Buffloka, and Zimba default to neutral. NPCs respond to stealth: sneaking, invisibility, and being out of sight affect whether enemies notice you, and nearby NPCs can detect attempts to steal from chests in friendly or enemy structures. Right-clicking NPCs brings up faction-specific dialogue, including different lines when they are hostile, and the dialogue can be customized. The mod adds Nether lava-sea structures for the Demon faction, including watchtowers, prisons, cathedrals, and outposts. NPCs can use axes in combat, trade full item stacks by shift-clicking, and use configurable replacement mobs when a structure calls for a mob from a mod that is not installed. Many factions have distinct loot tables, and Dwarves can spawn in several Biomes O’ Plenty mountain biomes; structures that depend on absent mods are disabled. Players can claim structures with a configurable number of enemies still present, and can choose whether remaining enemies flee when a structure is captured. Configuration also covers reputation changes, stealth detection, structure generation distance, NPC combat and survival behavior, chest access, and vehicle upgrade strength; registry overrides or configuration can revert the tweaks to original AW2 behavior, except for bug fixes.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 81 blocks, 171 items, 1 entity, 39 recipes, 185 loot tables and 332 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
