About
Animal Tamer lets players tame rabbits, foxes, ocelots, pandas, polar bears, dolphins, pigs, sheep, chickens, cows and mooshrooms, and striders. Use an animal’s taming item to tame it, then right-click to cycle between sitting, wandering and following; breeding also produces a tamed baby if either parent is tamed. Sneak-right-click activates special behaviors for supported animals, including having a rabbit ride on your head, making a panda roll, standing a polar bear upright, and switching a dolphin between stopped and wandering. Tamed animals are protected from damage except for falling out of the world or damage from their owner, and the mod can run server-side so vanilla clients can join without installing it. A configuration option allows users to add custom mobs, though support may vary; vanilla wolves, cats and parrots can also be switched back to vanilla taming behavior through the config.
