About
Doggy Talents expands tamed wolves into trainable, customizable dogs, with smarter behavior, a leveling system, and 19 talents that let players shape each dog for different roles. Dogs gain talent points as they progress through Training, Super, Master, and Dire treats, with normal levels followed by a further Dire path. Their talents cover combat and protection, such as Hell Hound’s fire attacks and Creeper Sweeper’s warnings, as well as support skills including Shepherd Dogs for moving livestock, Fisher Dog for catching fish, Rescue Dog for healing its owner, and Puppy Eyes for earning villager gifts. Five behavior modes let dogs follow without attacking, stay near a food bowl, defend their owner, attack nearby mobs, or wait for a specific target; dogs can also play fetch with thrown bones or sticks. Dogs have hunger that can be replenished with food, gradually recover health while fed, and can be managed with food bowls and beds; in supported versions, a linked bed can also bring back a dog that dies. Players can equip dyeable collars and radio collars, use a radar to locate a collared dog in the same dimension, and carry food in a Treat Bag for feeding dogs or stocking bowls.
