About
Archaic Guns is an addon for MrCrayfish’s Gun Mod that adds stylized medieval and fantasy firearms rather than aiming for realism or modern and futuristic weapons. Its current lineup includes the Pipegun, Musket, Blunderbuss, Slagger, Coach Gun, Rotating Bolt Launcher, Rifle, Repeater and Repeater Alt, plus the Boomstick and Boomstick Alt; the guns currently share one ammunition type. The guns are extensively configurable, with NBT settings for effects such as explosions, potion effects, knockback, burning, block breaking and projectile smoke, as well as gun behavior such as firing rate, ammo capacity and recoil. Colored flares can also be thrown and bounce off walls; they have no effect by default, but Colored Lux can add colored lighting to them. The guns are intended as customizable resources for modpack creators, who can adjust their settings and replace their sounds; survival crafting recipes must be supplied separately.
