Arts & Crafts adds decorative building materials and hands-on ways to customize them for Creative and Survival builds. Its blocks and items include chalk and chalk sticks, gypsum and plaster, painted mud bricks, terracotta shingles, soapstone, cork, dyed flower pots and decorated pots, paintbrushes, and lotus flowers. Chalk sticks let players draw using 33 patterns, while paintbrushes provide a manual way to dye blocks; decorated pots can also be colored with dyes and use pottery sherds from other mods. The lotus flower is a sniffer-related plant that yields Bleachdew, which can reverse dye on blocks such as colored terracotta and wool. The mod also adds a cork wood set that grows in savanna biomes, with stripped cork that floats in water, and soapstone that generates in water caves. Additional building sets include multiple Pietraforte styles, such as bricks, pillars, smooth, cut, and chiseled blocks.
