Cobblemon Academy is a trainer-focused modpack that builds on Cobblemon with an exploration, questing, and progression journey for solo players or groups. New worlds begin on Academy Island, a hub with the Academy, shops, a healing center, a Safari Portal, and dorm buildings, before students set out on their wider adventure. The world combines expanded Overworld and Nether biomes from William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld, Oh The Biomes We've Gone, and Regions Unexplored, with Stellarity bringing more varied color to the End. Exploration includes hundreds of structures from Moog's, ATI, YUNG's, TOTW, Trek, DnT, Strayed Fates, and Better Villages, with both vanilla and Cobblemon loot to find. Quests, gyms, an easy-to-learn economy, legendary encounters, and mega evolutions give the trainer journey goals beyond catching and exploring. The Academy's Headmaster appears beyond an End Portal, while legendary Key Items can summon their associated Pokémon in biomes where they are able to spawn. The daily Safari World challenge takes place in the Eternal Starlight dimension: players enter through a Safari Portal with limited time and Safari Balls, which are the only balls that work there, and must wait until the next real-life day to return after time runs out unless they have a Safari Ticket. Trading cards add another activity, with booster packs and card albums, while the pack also includes more rideable Cobblemon such as Articuno, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Arceus, Koraidon, and Miraidon.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 8 Jan 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 21 Nov 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 297 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 289 of its 290 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 21 of the 254 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
36 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
