Better Rocks expands the game’s stone-based building palette with refined blocks and decorative variants for common overworld rocks, Nether rocks, sandstone, and prismarine. Andesite, diorite, and granite gain polished and other refined forms, bricks, tiles, mosaics, pillars, and cracked or mossy variants, with matching slabs, stairs, and walls; stone also gains polished and mossy tile options. Blackstone and basalt receive many of the same styles, including bricks, tiles, mosaics, pillars, cracked variants, and building-piece forms, while blackstone also has gilded variants; netherrack can be polished. Sandstone and red sandstone gain polished forms and bricks, and soul sandstone adds a related set of variants made from soul sand. Prismarine gains polished, chiseled, and pillar forms, with polished bricks for regular prismarine and bricks for dark prismarine. Lanterns can be made from several of these materials: glowstone-powered versions for the main stone families, blue soul-light versions for blackstone and basalt, and soul lanterns for soul soil. Andesite, diorite, and granite behave more like stone when mined, dropping cobbled variants unless mined with Silk Touch.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 291 blocks and 771 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 3 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
