    About

    Binnie’s Mods expands Forestry’s breeding and production systems with new bees and trees, breedable flowers, and machinery for manipulating the traits of bees, trees, butterflies, and flowers. Extra Bees adds 107 bee species with varied effects and products, from dyes to rare metal dusts, plus an Apiarist Database for tracking discovered species, mutations, and traits, and alveary components that support bee production. Extra Trees introduces 96 species, including banana, Brazil nut, and Douglas-fir, along with new fruits and 35 kinds of planks; its woodworker combines woods into patterned tiles, while brewery and distillery machines turn fruit into wines, ciders, and spirits. Botany lets players breed 46 flower species, including vanilla flowers, fuchsia, and lilies, selecting for colours across a palette of 80; flowers can be raised by hand in gardens or on Forestry farms. Genetics provides an alternative to selective breeding: players isolate and sequence genes, then synthesize and inoculate organisms to transfer desired traits, and can acclimatize them to hostile climates.
