Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons 2 is an exploration-focused modpack that combines dungeon-crawling and RPG-style progression, built around finding new places to explore rather than serving as a general-purpose kitchen-sink pack. Its world adds more than 100 biomes, numerous dungeons and structures, and dimensions including the Twilight Forest, the Undergarden, Atum 2, Blue Skies’ Everbright and Everdawn, and the procedurally generated Dimensional Dungeons. Exploration is supported by over 1,500 quests with rewards and shop currency, while dungeon themes, revised loot, and overhauled mineshafts, strongholds, caves, and other familiar structures give players new reasons to venture out. Character and skill leveling improves stats such as mining, combat, health, and damage, while tools, weapons, armor, mobs, trinkets, curios, and relics can have varying rarities and modifiers or abilities. Mobs scale in difficulty as players progress, and successive Normal, Expert, and Master stages make the challenge tougher; progressive bosses and elemental dragons add further fights and distinctive loot. The pack also supports different approaches to survival and building, with backpacks and portable homes for nomadic play, construction blocks and decorations, biome-specific crops and trees, and a broad selection of foods, drinks, and sweets. Additional activities include basic processing and automation, revamped hardcore play, and a small magic component featuring Ars Nouveau.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 1 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 19 Jan 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 285 of its 290 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 197 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
4 other mods show AI use only from after this release (1 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
86 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
