    About

    Bonded makes tools, weapons, and armor develop through normal use: gear earns Bond, levels up, and gains bonus stats as it progresses. Dedicated Repair Benches restore gear using its repair material, and can store excess repair as temporary over-repair; Tool Benches upgrade eligible items when they meet the required level and the player has the upgrade material. Standard equipment from other mods can use Bonded’s leveling and repair systems, while upgrade paths can be set up through compatibility profiles or server-managed Gear Rules that specify gear type, experience cap, repair material, and upgrade target and ingredient. Built-in Gear Rule profiles cover vanilla and Bonded gear, Basic Weapons, Advanced Netherite, Immersive Armors, BetterEnd, BetterNether, Arcane Armory, and Weapons Expanded. Items found in chest loot or carried by monsters can begin with an innate Bond level, and benches can draw matching materials from adjacent chests and barrels. Optional integrations let Liteminer award Bonded experience for vein-mined blocks and add a HUD preview of the gain; Modonomicon or Patchouli can provide a craftable Field Guide to progression, workstation recipes, and augments.
