    About

    Bones And Swords is a pirate-themed exploration mod that adds ships, buried treasure, pirate mobs, and boss encounters to the Overworld. Its structures include pirate ships and shipwrecks, the Drowned Captain’s ship, the Skeleton Captain’s frozen-ocean shipwreck, and the Treasure Pillar, with chests and maps leading players toward rare loot. The added creatures range from Skeleton Corsairs and beach-roaming Drowned Corsairs to Ghost Creepers, pack-hunting Sanders, and the Key Keeper, which guards treasure chests and drops their keys. Several named captains provide tougher fights: the Lost Captain summons sand tornadoes and inflicts blindness, while the Skeleton Captain attacks with evoker fangs and the Wither Skeleton Captain fires wither skulls. Exploration rewards include the Flame Artifact, which switches between explosive and rapid-fire projectiles, the Fang Talisman, which summons evoker fangs, and the Magic Map, which points to a rare pirate structure. Pirate weapons include fast cutlasses, a Scimitar that deals extra damage to unarmored foes, a Gem Blade that spends Gem Shards for extra damage, and a Phantom Blade that propels its wielder forward. The mod also adds distinctive effects and gear, including Deadly Seas, which damages entities in water or rain, and hats such as the Captain’s Hat, which grants resistance while at sea.
