Reduces lag by slowing distant mobs and hiding faraway entities.

Boosters is a performance mod that reduces work from distant mobs, entities, block entities, dropped items, XP orbs, and particles, especially in busy bases, farms, and villages. It scales down far-away mobs’ sensing, pathfinding, and target selection while leaving nearby mob behavior unchanged, and it can stop distant entities, nametags, and ground shadows from being rendered beyond configurable distances. Distant block entities such as furnaces and signs tick less often, while hoppers, pistons, beacons, conduits, brewing stands, and sculk are excluded by default to preserve their expected behavior; the exclusion list can be edited. Distant dropped items and XP orbs also update less often, though their physics, stack merging, and despawning continue. Particle counts are reduced according to density and distance, and the detail rendered for chest lids, sign text, skulls, and banners can have a shorter range than the block models themselves. One-click Quality, Balanced, Performance, and Extreme presets let players choose how aggressively to apply the throttling, with a Custom preset available after changing settings. Boosters detects optimization mods and avoids duplicating dedicated work, automatically disabling its own entity culling when EntityCulling is installed; it complements Sodium by reducing game logic and entities rather than replacing the chunk renderer. A live F3 status line reports current throttling and culling activity, and the settings screen provides controls for adjusting the mod’s behavior.

Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
