Boss Rifts is an addon for adventure mods that makes the return trip after a distant boss fight easier. When a supported boss is defeated, a rift core appears at its location; activate it with a right-click or by throwing an ender pearl at it from a distance, then wait a few seconds for the rift to open and transport nearby entities to the activating player's home. Smoke particles mark an activated rift, and portal particles indicate which entities are close enough to travel through it. A server configuration option controls how long a rift remains before disappearing, or lets it remain indefinitely. The mod supports bosses tagged appropriately by other mods; documented examples include bosses from Twilight Forest, Atum 2, Mowzie's Mobs, Advent of Ascension, Gaia Dimension, Blue Skies, Stalwart Dungeons, Dungeons Mod, and Astemir's Forestcraft.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 mob: Rift; 6 sounds: Entity Boss Rift Close, Entity Boss Rift Expire, Entity Boss Rift Open, Entity Boss Rift Rev Up, Entity Boss Rift Spawn and Entity Boss Rift Warp.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
