Campfire adds customizable campfires and a decorative Brazier block, providing configurable cooking and smoke features. Campfires can be crafted from any vanilla or modded wood type, and configuration lets users add or remove supported wood types or restrict recipes to particular woods. The mod generates campfire recipes from food-related furnace recipes by default, supporting food mods, while configuration can disable that generation and add or remove recipes with options such as cooking time, experience, and required campfire types. Campfires cook up to eight items at once by default, and both campfires and braziers can be dyed like leather armor, giving their smoke a matching color. When powered, their smoke can take on the map color of the block beneath them, with configuration options to change or disable that behavior; smoke itself can also be toggled. Walking into a campfire or brazier causes fire damage by default, though this and the increased cooking capacity can be reverted in the configuration.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 1 sound: Blocks Campfire Crackle.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
