About
Ceramic Shears adds a clay-based alternative to vanilla shears, made through a short crafting and smelting process. Craft two clay balls into a Clay Shears Part, smelt it into a Ceramic Shears Part, then combine two parts to make Ceramic Shears. The finished shears work like the vanilla tool, including shearing sheep for wool, mooshrooms, pumpkins, and snow golems, as well as harvesting leaves, cobwebs, tall grass, seagrass, ferns, dead bushes, and vines. They can also shear tripwire without triggering it and, in applicable versions, harvest honey from full beehives or bee nests. Ceramic Shears have 75% of vanilla shears' durability by default, and their durability can be adjusted in the server configuration, including disabling wear.
