Cherry trees, hanging signs, and archaeology arrive in older worlds.

Cherry_on_1.12.2 brings cherry-blossom and archaeology features from newer Minecraft releases to 1.12.2. Cherry trees generate naturally in Cherry Grove biomes, and bamboo generation in biomes can be configured. Archaeology centers on suspicious blocks in Desert Temples, Desert Wells, Ocean Ruins, and Trail Ruins, where excavations can yield templates; template acquisition also uses loot chests, including those added by structure mods, with buried treasure and ocean ruins as vanilla fallbacks. The mod adds decorated pots, including a pot item that can display a dynamic pattern. When riding a chest boat, holding Ctrl opens the player's inventory, while leaving Ctrl unheld opens the boat's storage. Selected settings can be adjusted in-game, and configurable loot tables let players tune the suspicious-block rewards for the four supported structure types. Optional integrations add hanging-sign materials through Future MC and Unseen's Nether Backport, bee nests in cherry trees and nectar gathering from cherry leaves and pink petals through Future MC, drowned in Ocean Expansion ruins, and cherry seeds from sieving dirt with Ex Nihilo: Creatio.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 10 boats, 1 other entity, 2 loot tables and 71 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 25 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 7 points.
