    About

    Oceanic Expanse expands Minecraft’s oceans and coasts with configurable content that combines backported ocean features with additions designed to fit vanilla gameplay. It brings in Drowned, shipwrecks, conduits, tridents and fish, alongside frozen ocean regions with towering icebergs and warm oceans with dense coral reefs. Beaches gain palm trees whose coconuts grow and fall, as well as neutral crabs that dig in the sand for items and can uncover treasure. Shelly Sand offers beachcombing finds such as barnacle shells and conches, while coquina outcrops add a source of soft limestone for crafting decorative bricks, slabs, stairs and walls. The frozen seafloor adds Dulse, an ocean crop that can be dried for food or fuel, along with tube sponges and sea stars. The mod also adds distinctive marine life, including clams that can launch entities standing on them, lobsters, tropical slimes, and dolphins that follow players sprinting through water and grant Dolphin’s Grace.
