Christmas Spirit adds seasonal activities and decorations to Minecraft, with features designed especially for shared play and holiday events. Players can craft garlands, wreaths, candy-cane blocks, Christmas lights, ornaments, stockings, frosted glass, and other decorations, then adorn Christmas trees whose nearby presence grants Holiday Spirit; a fully decorated tree grants a stronger effect. An involved baking process produces treats such as gingerbread, sugar cookies, peppermint candy, and soda, which grant Holiday Spirit and improve the odds of receiving rare items from Santa Presents. Players can wrap an item as a present, choose its color and recipient, and set a date for it to be opened. When the daily gift event is active, players receive a Santa Present upon logging in each day, with possible rewards varying by the day and configurable through a gift list. Naughty deeds, including harming players or animals, build the Naughty effect; at five stacks, a player is placed on Santa’s Naughty List and receives coal instead of ordinary gifts, while a hard-to-craft Santa Cookie removes them from the list. Jack Frost may appear at snowy midnight, attacks players who are not on the Naughty List, and trades Frostbourne Ingots for five lumps of coal; the ingots can be used to craft powerful armor and weapons. The mod can also freeze generated land biomes, excluding oceans by default, and replaces ambient music with 11 Christmas tracks while adding themed music discs; the biome-freezing feature can be disabled in configuration.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's interface textures.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
