Cloud Storage adds a simple way to expand and access storage by tying balloons to inventories and sending them into the sky, without requiring a tech-mod network. With skylight access, a color-matched balloon lets you open a private cloud chest containing 27 slots per uploaded inventory; the default capacity is 4096 slots, and the chest can be searched, sorted, and browsed. Static cloud chests provide shared storage that other players and hoppers can access, and can move items between distant locations through hopper connections. Balloons also slow falls, reduce fall damage, and serve as decorations, while cloud blocks can cushion a landing. To craft the storage materials, players can encounter Badloons, fragile balloon creatures that punch and fear projectiles and cactus, and Bloviators, cloud spirits that push with wind and become lightning-wielding thunderclouds in rain. Other sky-themed additions include craftable Balloon Buddy pets with eight behavior-shaping personalities, village Balloon Salesmen who trade storage items and may offer a sky-temple map or a large balloon, cotton candy, a Cloud Blower, and a music disc that can drop when a skeleton pops a Badloon.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and Inventory and itemsChanges 1 game code file in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting..
Adds 5 blocks, 19 items, 3 mobs, 4 other entities, 2 structures, 10 recipes, 20 advancements, 5 loot tables and 11 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
