A fantasy adventure with quests, new worlds, and powerful foes.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 411 graded mods, 313 are graded A or B, 84 C and 14 D to F. Its last update came out yesterday, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Requiem: BETTER FANTASY (The Last Act) is an exploration and story-driven sequel to Overture, built around a fresh start and a final chapter in its protagonist’s journey. Its 300-plus quests use chapter-based progression: completing a chapter unlocks the next, with a main storyline alongside questlines for modded content. The story follows the protagonist after defeating the Weaver of Souls: a dream involving Apollyon leads to waking in an unfamiliar place without their former home, equipment, or supplies, and starting over. Exploration spans a reworked Overworld, Nether, and End, with biomes from Regions Unexplored and Geophilic and destinations such as Incendium, BetterEnd, Eldritch End, and Macabre, as well as hidden dungeons and other dimensions. The pack adds more than 200 mobs and challenging bosses, including Apollyon and the Horseman, alongside overhauled structures, custom KubeJS recipes, new mechanics, and an endgame built around the question of crafting the Zaka Star. It also supports cooperative play, with combat support for Malfu Packs and shader support noted by the project.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 23 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 19 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 409 of its 415 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 388 of its 394 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 28 of the 340 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
54 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
