About
Cobblemon: Perfect Partners is an addon focused on making Pokémon feel more like companions through everyday interaction, shared travel, and gradual friendship growth. Players can pet Pokémon, with first- and third-person animations and heart-particle feedback; petting also builds friendship and the Cute Contest condition. Five Contest Conditions develop through different activities: Cool through battle wins, Beauty through item use, Cute through petting, Smart through using useful blocks and workstations, and Tough through travelling together. Contest progress can unlock cosmetic rewards, while Pokémon can earn ribbons and marks, receive custom prefix or suffix titles, and display aura effects around them. While travelling, Pokémon can find gifts whose chances may depend on friendship, and Shiny Leaves; each Pokémon can collect five leaves, with their locations shaped by its nature and the biomes associated with that nature group. Collecting all five leaves earns a Leaf Crown, and trainer cards, partner certificates, and leaf certificates let players review friendship, Contest, and collection progress and celebrate accomplishments. A Partner Journal provides an in-game guide and tracker, while the Friendship Bracelet offers another configurable way to support bonding. Players can add custom MIDI songs for contests, and server owners can tune systems such as friendship gains, follow distance, gifts, Contest progress, Shiny Leaf discovery, bracelet behavior, and visual effects.
