    About

    Cobblemon: Underground Mining Minigame adds Pokémon Underground-inspired excavation puzzles to Minecraft, with spots appearing as faintly sparkling blocks in underground walls and other configured stone-like blocks; the feature also works in vanilla worlds. Opening a spot reveals a layered grid containing hidden treasures, which players uncover by choosing between tools such as the precise pickaxe, wide-clearing hammer, gentle brush, and explosive TNT. Every dig uses stability, and hitting zero collapses the mine, forfeiting any treasures not yet collected; fully uncovered treasures are claimed as items. Players can finish after clearing a grid or continue to another level for bonus rewards, with rarity increasing as they progress. Grid sizes range from normal 6×6 to huge 9×9, with larger grids offering greater rarity bonuses, while special time-limited and deep grids add a timer or extra digging layers in exchange for better loot potential. Vanilla loot can include diamonds, netherite scraps, enchanted golden apples, and music discs; with Cobblemon and Mega Showdown, sites can also yield fossils, evolution stones, relic statues, crown fragments, Mega Stones, Key Stones, and Tera Shards. Server operators can configure sparkle frequency, stability, loot tables, rarity, and spawn behavior, and can restrict spots to designated zones or marked blocks.
