About
CobGyms adds instanced, Cobblemon-style Gyms where players battle Gym Trainers and Leaders using randomized teams drawn from theme-based selections and scaled to a chosen Pokémon level, with evolution logic handled for the teams. Players can enter through naturally spawning Woodland, Volcanic, and Aquatic Gym entrances, found in different overworld biomes, or use a Poké Gym Key to enter a random themed Gym. Gym Trainers and Leaders can each be a challenge: losing or forfeiting forces a whiteout and departure without rewards, while victories grant rewards that improve with the selected Gym level. Gym rewards include Lesser, Adept, Master, and Legendary Poké Shards, which can be crafted into matching Poké Caches; caches let players choose a theme and receive a random Pokémon from that theme’s predefined selection, starting at level 1. Shiny Poké Caches can be crafted for a higher chance of a Shiny Pokémon, and Legendary caches award a random Legendary from the limited selection modeled in Cobblemon. After a player beats higher-level Gyms, nearby wild Pokémon may occasionally scale up toward that progression, provided high-level wild Pokémon are not already nearby.
