    About

    Combustive Fishing adds lava fishing to Minecraft with the Blazing Fishing Rod, an upgraded rod with greater durability and enchantability that can reel in fish, junk, and treasure. The catch depends on location: lava fishing in the Overworld mainly yields cooked fish, while Nether lava pools yield Nether fish, with chances of junk or treasure in either place. The Nether's Combustive Cod explodes when thrown, but dropping it into water cools it into edible fish; the Searing Swordfish is inedible while hot, yet its bill can be combined with a blaze rod to make a fiery sword. Bone Fish appear in lava pools in both the Nether and Overworld and can attract wolves and ocelots or be ground into more bonemeal than a regular bone.
