A fantasy adventure pack full of quests, new lands, and monsters.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 276 graded mods, 191 are graded A or B, 55 C and 30 D to F. Its last update came out 3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
Fantasy Realm is a large RPG adventure and exploration modpack built around quests, character progression, and discovering new places to conquer. Its world adds five dimensions and more than 100 Overworld biomes, with new Nether biomes and structures, forests, and over 200 dungeons and structures to explore. The adventure includes more than 100 new mobs, bosses, and minibosses, and lets players train their own dragon. Over 800 quests guide progression, while RPG stats can be developed and the pack includes magic from mods such as Forbidden Arcanus and Malum. Players can earn customizable backpacks by completing challenges and collect 12 new eyes to enter a remastered End dimension. Minecolonies supports building a bustling fantasy kingdom, complemented by an overhauled interface and custom textures.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 7 Oct 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
4 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 25 Sep 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 279 of its 284 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 268 of its 272 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 27 of the 217 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
55 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
