    About

    Composite Material expands the equipment-focused Copper And Crystal remake with new materials, their tools, armor, weapons, and magic items, using vanilla ingredients alongside drops from vanilla mobs such as the Ancient Guardian Spike and Warden Hand. It also adds recipes for vanilla items including the Trident and Heart of the Sea. The materials range from Flint, which has no special abilities, and Copper, whose armor grants knockback resistance while its tools can rust in water, to Amethyst tools that gradually repair themselves in water. Rusted Copper tools can poison targets, while Obsidian Steel armor can neutralize piglins and Dungeon Steel and Disc tools each have material-specific special abilities. Echoium tools deal extra damage based on a target’s armor, and its armor resists fire, darkness, blindness, and weakness; a full Echoium set also prevents Wardens from spawning. Allay Steel tools can attack and mine the same targets within range, while its armor resists falling, poison, wither, and hunger effects; wearing a full set grants healing like an Allay. Etherite is unbreakable: its tools deal extra damage based on a target’s missing health, and a full set provides healing and creative flight, alongside broad protection from harmful effects.
