About
Create: Aeroworks adds airship equipment and cockpit controls to Create: Aeronautics, including gyroscopes for ship stabilization and joysticks for steering. Gyroscopes use rotational energy to counter a ship’s tilt, with stabilization depending on their input RPM and number; multiple units can help stabilize larger ships. Their status indicates whether the ship is off, unstable, steady, or level, and analog redstone input can reduce corrective force along an axis so pilots can roll or pitch before the gyroscope brings the ship back toward level. The joystick controls a ship along two axes, outputs redstone signals through configurable link frequencies, includes an extra button, and can display its current output on an on-screen HUD. Joystick orientation can be locked with redstone input, and keyboard control with toggleable snapback is also available. A console desk lets players assemble a ship’s cockpit from supported modules: levers, joysticks, buttons, steering wheels, yokes, and throttle quadrants.
