A survival pack that guides you from stone tools to the Moon.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 208 graded mods, 165 are graded A or B, 38 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 7 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
TerraFirma Rebirth 2 is a long-form TerraFirmaCraft survival modpack that guides players from primitive stoneworking through industry and aviation to a crewed landing on the Moon. Its quest book provides hundreds of hand-written quests across chapters for the pack’s mechanics, progression ages, and included mods, with guidance on how gameplay differs from standard TerraFirmaCraft. Progression spans knapping, pottery, charcoal production, bloomeries, and blast furnaces before opening into electricity, aviation, and spaceflight; each stage is tied to TerraFirmaCraft technologies. Survival centers on managing hunger, thirst, health, body temperature, seasonal conditions, and food preservation in a world with more dangerous wildlife and demanding climates. Players can also build a homestead through farming, animal husbandry, beekeeping, brewing and winemaking, extensive cooking, and tavern-keeping, alongside building, decoration, and artisan crafts. Create is integrated into this progression with powered machinery, stress and transmission networks, moving contraptions, fluid transport, trains, and logistics, while Immersive Engineering supports electrical grids, factory automation, and mineral-processing lines made with TerraFirmaCraft materials. Beyond the industrial ages, players can build hot-air balloons, propeller planes, and steam airships, then pursue rocket engineering and lunar exploration; CC: Tweaked computers and specialized turtles also connect to the space program. Exploration includes the dangerous underground dimension The Beneath and deep-sea expeditions with submarines. The pack adds a TerraFirmaCraft-style enchanting system with its own table, exclusive enchantments, and distinctive bookshelf behavior. Built-in distant-terrain rendering reveals far-off landscapes, and an original soundtrack provides music tailored to the pack’s biomes and moments.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 9 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 27 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 208 of its 209 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 207 of its 209 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 4 of the 176 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
17 other mods show AI use only from after this release (9 Sep 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
33 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
