About
Create Compressed is a fan-made Create add-on that turns commonly used raw materials and parts into compact blocks, reducing inventory clutter while also providing decorative storage options. For crushed ores, it adds blocks for Create and vanilla materials such as copper, iron, zinc, and gold; they can be crafted by hand or made with a Mechanical Press and Basin, then bulk-washed with a fan and water to recover nuggets and byproducts. It also includes compact metal-sheet blocks for copper, brass, gold, iron, and sturdy sheets, plus compatibility blocks for supported metals such as aluminium, lead, nickel, osmium, platinum, silver, tin, and uranium when other mods provide those materials. Create components have their own storage forms, including a Shaft Bundle, Cogwheel Crate, Large Cogwheel Crate, Mechanical Belt Crate, and Mechanism Block; these are intended for storage and decoration rather than use in contraptions, and a wrench lets players quickly pick them up while sneaking. Rose Quartz can be stored as a crystal block and polished with sandpaper, while additional compact blocks cover Cinder Flour, Powdered Obsidian, Wheat Flour, and Dough; Wheat Flour can be processed into a Dough Block, which can in turn be used to make a Slime Block with less Lime Dye than crafting from individual Slime Balls. The add-on was made for the Play as Dragon: Gothic Edition modpack but can also be used independently.
