    About

    Create: Protection Pixel adds steampunk, Create-inspired heavy armor whose pieces offer distinct combat and utility abilities, and which can be synthesized, processed, and strengthened through Create’s industrial systems. Its named pieces include the Plague Helmet, which vents steam to clear temporary blindness, darkness, weakness, and slowness; the Lancer Helmet, which deals more damage at higher movement speeds; and the Hunter Helmet, which can reveal nearby moving creatures while the wearer lurks and help locate treasure. The Breaker Chestplate emphasizes damage and attack speed while retaining protection, while the Magnetic Storm Chestplate attacks surrounding targets when its wearer takes heavy damage or is outnumbered and can draw in enemies using ranged attacks; the Float Shield Chestplate creates a protective shell. Each armor type comes in brass and alloy grades, with alloy offering higher attributes, and pieces can be mixed freely rather than relying on set bonuses. The armor’s special functions depend on a combustion reactor that boils water with flarerods to generate steam; without an active reactor, the wearer suffers slowness, mining fatigue, and weakness, while additional flarerods let the reactor power more armor weight. An armor-load platform lets players install, remove, and repair armor plates with different values to adapt armor to different needs; it requires a lava input through pipes and consumes 100 mB of magma per installation or removal. The armor leaves visual room for backpack mods, and the project reports compatibility with action-focused mods including Epic Fight, Better Combat, and Parcool.
