A steampunk adventure pack with quests, machines, and worlds to explore.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 357 graded mods, 262 are graded A or B, 75 C and 20 D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
SteamPunk [LPS] is a steampunk-themed modpack built around exploration, technology, and a large guided quest progression, with more than 1,000 quests and 1,000 advancements. Its world generation adds new biomes and caves, overhauled villages, dungeons, and other structures, plus a redesigned Stronghold and Fortress; examples include a Pillager Castle, Ancient Mines, and a steampunk Clockwork village in mesa and badlands biomes. Exploration also reaches five added dimensions and five planets, with new End biomes, bosses, and steam-themed mobs to encounter. The pack combines Create-based steam technology with skills, magic, Tetra equipment, and guns, while adding mechanics such as thin air and Cold Sweat’s temperature challenges. Create expands the factory and logistics side with machinery and transport features such as chain conveyors, item hatches, packagers, stock links, and redstone requesters. The questbook is intended to guide players through the pack’s broad mix of exploration, combat, and crafting content.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 20 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 2 Nov 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 355 of its 361 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 326 of its 330 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 28 of the 279 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
51 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
