Create: Vintage Improvements expands Create with production machinery and material-processing recipes, adding rods, wires, sheets and springs that can also be made from materials supplied by supported mods such as Ad Astra, Mekanism, Thermal Expansion and Tinkers’ Construct. Its machines cover distinct processes: the Belt Grinder polishes items subject to configurable speed limits, the Spring Coiling Machine makes springs, and the Compressor uses a basin for vacuumizing or pressurizing recipes that may consume or produce fluids. A Vibrating Table processes items and can, when its optional configuration is enabled, unpack storage blocks into materials or vibrate leaves for their drops; a Centrifuge handles recipes with four basins installed. The Curving Press uses interchangeable heads for different shaping recipes, while the Helve Hammer works with anvils for hammering and smithing tables for automated smithing. A Lathe performs turning recipes, with a Recipe Card available to automate recipe selection, and the Laser performs cutting recipes using energy supplied by a compatible mod rather than by Vintage Improvements itself. The addon also adds sulfur processing that leads to sulfuric acid, vanadium materials, copper sulfate that can be used as bone meal, armor-trim options using vanadium and Create materials, and a Redstone Module that lets a Centrifuge or Curving Press output a comparator-readable signal. Its recipes can be customized through modpack recipe systems, and all of the machines support sequenced assembly.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
