Survive, explore, and build technology from wilderness to space.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 274 graded mods, 208 are graded A or B, 51 C and 15 D to F. Its last update came out 3 days ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
TerraFirmaGreg-Modern is a survival and technology modpack built around combining TerraFirmaCraft’s immersive survival systems with GregTech Modern’s chemistry and industrial progression. Progression begins with primitive tasks such as making tools from sticks and stones, then advances through pottery, prospecting and metallurgy, charcoal production, forging, and increasingly advanced furnaces and industrial machinery. Survival involves more than gathering resources: players manage temperature, food and agriculture, clothing, hazards, mining collapses, and other persistent changes to familiar Minecraft mechanics. Create and Greate provide early kinetic automation, while GregTech builds toward complex processing and factory systems; Applied Energistics 2 adds advanced storage and automation. The pack also includes custom mechanics, tools, and dimensions, with Ad Astra extending factory and survival challenges beyond Earth to custom planets. An in-game guide and quest system help explain the pack’s systems and support progression through its long sequence of technologies.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 21 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 19 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 273 of its 275 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 258 of its 264 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 15 of the 226 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
38 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
