    About

    Creature Corner is a wildlife-focused Minecraft mod centered on pigeons, with creatures inspired by wildlife from around the world and a few animals chosen simply because the creator enjoys them. Pigeons live in lofts, perch on iron golems, and breed with seeds; they seek out lofts to sleep and prefer sheltered, roofed areas for nesting, while Endoves are pigeons from the End that also breed with seeds. Coyotes, including Eastern coyote and side-striped jackal variants, breed with raw chicken, while crested caracaras hunt small prey and breed with raw rabbit. Toucans sleep in hollow logs and breed with fruit, and the mod also adds Gallians, large prehistoric fowl that defend livestock from predators. It includes 16 butterfly species and glowing-eyed choirflies in the End; breeding them with flowers, or chorus flowers for choirflies, produces caterpillars. Rare beefles sleep beneath moss and can be brushed clean, tamed, saddled, and ridden in flight. The rare tropical Floral Isle features purple jacaranda trees, alongside jacaranda wood, hollow logs, nests, and pigeon lofts; pigeons and caracaras build nests and lay eggs in them, with caracaras nesting in cactuses. A bug net lets players catch butterflies, bees, spiders, and other bugs, while butterfly wing pastes can serve as dye or slime for colorful slime blocks and pistons. The mod also includes the music disc Gallian Grotto, and Gallian eggs can be found in shipwrecks and jungle pyramids.
