    About

    Cursed Earth adds a block that rapidly spawns mobs in darkness, providing a configurable way to create mob-spawning areas. By default, players create it by sneak-clicking a wither rose on ordinary dirt, and sneaking and right-clicking the block with an empty hand reveals which mobs can spawn on it, including for structure-based spawning setups. Configuration controls spawn timing, a mob cap, a blacklist, the minimum distance from players, whether the block spreads naturally in darkness or dies in sunlight, and whether spawns can ignore restrictions such as light level and elevation.
