An expert skyblock pack.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 104 graded mods, 59 are graded A or B, 14 C and 31 D to F. Its last update came out 6.5 years ago, for Minecraft 1.14.4. See the mods
Sigma is an expert skyblock modpack built around a ten-stage progression in which players create resources and automate increasingly advanced production, though the progression can be bypassed. Early stages use Create’s rotational power to produce resources such as iron, gold, and clay, then Blue Power’s Igniter and Block Breaker to reach the Nether and gather materials. Alchemistry introduces atomization and replication to produce chemicals and Useless Ingots, leading to RF-powered machines and Silent Mechanism’s complex alloys, plastics, and expanded automation. Later stages feature turtles, quarries, and quantum storage; GM crops grown for resources; and fission and fusion that supply materials for Overloaded Physics. The final stages move into Overloaded equipment, including an Infinite Capacitor and powerful armor, and then challenge players to bend the laws of physics with Creative Energy Cells.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.14.4 · Forge, 11 May 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 9 Apr 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 106 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 66 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
40 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
