    About

    DarkLoot enhances vanilla mob combat by giving most mobs more generous drops, including guaranteed quantities of their usual loot and additional items that do not normally drop. Drops are selected using a weighted system, so some rewards are more common than others; the Wither and Ender Dragon drop all of their listed rewards on every kill. The expanded drops include heads and useful supplies: zombies can drop zombie heads, iron, diamonds, swords and crops; skeletons yield skulls, arrows, bones and bows; and creepers provide creeper heads, rockets, TNT and gunpowder. Other examples span food and equipment from farm animals, such as beef and leather from cows and saddles from pigs and horses, as well as Nether and End rewards such as ghast tears, blaze rods, shulker shells and an Elytra from the Ender Dragon. Loot drops can be customized with the DarkLoot Datapack, and the mod can run on a server without requiring installation on clients.
