Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 352 graded mods, 276 are graded A or B, 62 C and 14 D to F. Its last update came out 4 days ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
DarkRPG is a role-playing and adventure modpack that turns Minecraft into a quest-driven world of character building, exploration, and boss hunting. Players can take on roles such as vampire, vampire hunter, werewolf, mage, gunsmith, or dragon, and develop their character through a skills system. Quests award items and experience, while dungeons provide loot to improve armor and weapons; the pack also includes a casino with games that trade resources or experience for item rewards. Combat uses Epic Fight and its add-ons, and the pack offers more than 65 bosses and minibosses, including Frostmaw, Ignis, the Netherite Monstrosity, the Vampire Baron, and Void Blossom. Magic, biomes, and new creatures add further options for exploration and character progression. Travel options include Waystones and random teleportation, while the world map and waypoints help with navigation. The Forge edition supports play on the official DarkRPG server, and the pack also includes quests, skills, and multiplayer-focused features.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 20 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 7 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 352 of its 355 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 301 of its 305 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 14 of the 257 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
48 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
