Data Energistics expands Applied Energistics 2 networks with a technology path focused on data processing, storage, automation, and large-scale crafting. Players can begin with Digitalized Meteorites and Data Crystals, then develop a Data Flow system with storage cells, portable storage, and resource-production chains. Data Reassembler, Data Extractor, and Data Mimetic Field machines support data processing and simulation, while Data Ripper consumes Data Flow to accelerate machines, AE devices, and random ticks. The Trinity multiblock crafting system uses data cores, pattern cores, and access structures to handle large, parallel, and cyclic crafting plans. Network additions include Adaptive Pattern Providers, terminal and virtual-output extensions, and coordinated machine functions; a Data Distribution Tower sends AE channels and FE over long distances. Data Teleport Anchors provide point-to-point teleportation through color channels, and the Digital Storage Depot connects to ME networks to store items, fluids, and Generic Keys together. The mod also adds AE-powered equipment, including Data Crystal tools, a Data Light Saber, a Data Sanctifier, and a Matter Converging Crossbow. An in-game AE2 Guide documents the main machines, materials, upgrades, resources, and progression.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Inventory and itemsChanges 3 game code files in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting. and Blocks and fluidsChanges 2 game code files in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
A library packed inside it changes 1 more game code file:
ConnectedTexturesMod.
Adds 30 blocks, 48 items, 1 projectile, 1 other entity, 1 structure, 78 recipes, 10 loot tables and 5 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Data Energistics in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
