A technology pack built around energy systems and powerful machines.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 251 graded mods, 216 are graded A or B, 31 C and 4 D to F. Its last update came out 2 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
New Age Science and Technology is a technology-focused modpack built around Energy 2, AE2-style network systems and general machinery. Its main quest line introduces the pack, while resource storage and autocrafting let players encode materials in an ME network and automate complex production chains with Molecular Assemblers and Crafting CPUs. Channel management and P2P tunnels reward designing distributed networks across a base. Ore processing can be developed into a multistage production line involving crushing, washing and chemical crystallization, with the pack describing yields of up to five times the ore input. Power progression runs from coal-fed generators to fission and fusion reactors, while high-end machines and large crafting jobs demand increasingly careful management of generation and storage. Piping handles gases, liquids and solids as distinct but interconvertible flows, making fluid and material routing part of production planning.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 22 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 21 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 249 of its 251 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 247 of its 250 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 21 of the 191 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
59 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
