About
Dimension Stages lets modpacks and servers gate access to dimensions according to players’ progression, using stages provided by the Game Stages framework. Pack creators can configure a dimension to require one or more stages, so, for example, players might need to complete an objective such as crafting an item or defeating a boss before earning the stage that unlocks the Nether. A configured message can be shown when a player is prevented from entering a dimension, while dimensions that have not been staged continue to work normally.
