Distant Worlds adds the techno-magic dimension of Garhenna, a dark subterranean realm of rocky faults, lava lowlands, distinctive biomes, and its own plants, ores, materials, food, and decorative and functional blocks, without changing vanilla dimension generation. Its biomes include the ore-rich Molten Hills, the fire-lit Burning Plains with guarded ruins, the pollen-filled Sticky Marshes, and the eerie Dead Valley, where lithum outgrowths shelter helyst ore. Garhenna is inhabited by hostile and friendly creatures, including the three fighting types of fralite golem, peaceful culafite shroomers, and tameable animals such as noarhorns and salmorans that can assist in combat. Exploration feeds into a research system: players search abandoned libraries for ancient papers, use them at a research table to investigate items, and unlock entries in the Garhenna Book as research achievements are earned. Building a lithum altar opens a ritual-based path to stronger tools and armor, while curelite-fueled lithum furnaces generate dalite energy that can be transferred to storage and used with the mod’s energy systems. A growing Garhenna Depletion effect makes extended trips dangerous, progressing from hunger to weakened combat, poisoning, and ultimately death; foods and elixirs can reduce depletion, and Garhenna Immunity protects against it.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 241 blocks, 149 items, 13 mobs, 4 other entities, 4 biomes, 1 dimension, 10 structures, 4 enchantments, 318 recipes, 38 advancements, 10 loot tables and 3 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
