Calamity RPG III: Wounds of the World is a large RPG modpack about exploring a perilous realm of varied biomes, structures, and ruins while pursuing an adventure guided by more than 400 quests. At the start, players choose a class, such as Mage, Berserker, Wolf-Tamer, or Colonist, and an Origin; the pack also features character leveling and a skill tree for developing abilities. The challenge escalates as mobs grow stronger with each passing day, alongside dangerous creatures and powerful bosses to confront. Exploration includes new and familiar dimensions, seasonal tracking with a calendar, and a world whose appearance changes over time. Players can build and decorate homes or larger settlements, pursue automation with Create, craft weapons and armor, make custom tools with Tinkers’ Construct, cast spells with Iron’s Spellbooks, and tame dragons with Ice and Fire. The pack also reworks terrain and structure generation, adds creatures, bosses, and quests, and changes the game’s look with additional resource packs. Friends can join and be invited to a shared world through Essential, without purchasing a server.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 7 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 6 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 438 of its 443 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 419 of its 424 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 18 of the 355 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
69 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
