Eastward Journeys expands world generation with East Asian-inspired biomes, building materials, structures, creatures, food, weapons, and decorative blocks. Its landscapes include the karst Stone Forest, cherry-blossom-dotted bamboo jungles and snowy slopes with hot springs, red Maple Woods, dense Hinoki Forests, and Old Growth Fir Forests with water fir trees, pools, rice paddies, and fallen ancient trees. Other wooded and dry regions feature black pine, oak and maple, and saxaul trees, with new wood sets for black pine, hinoki, water fir, saxaul, and maple. Exploration can lead to a Giant Buddha statue, gazebos, torii gates and ruined torii portals, fallen ancient trees, terracotta tombs guarded by warriors, and the Great Wall, a sprawling dungeon of traps, monsters, and treasure. Cherry Blossom Villages add custom buildings and villager skins, while Mangrove Villages bring a distinct style using local building materials. Koi have varied skin patterns, Tanooki steal dropped food or other items that catch their attention, and Terracotta Warriors remain still until a target approaches before pursuing it with slow movement and powerful attacks. Building and decorating options include patterned Shoji paper set into light-passing screens, hidden trapdoors that match supported wood or stone blocks, tatami mats, red fences, paper and stone lanterns, and polished gravel that can be raked into different surface patterns. Enoki and shiitake mushrooms, flowering cacti, and rice paddies add new plant life, while foods include onigiri, congee, cooked koi, and maple syrup; rice grows in one-block-deep water over dirt, and maple syrup briefly boosts movement speed. Combat additions include the katana, a slower but stronger sword that can be reinforced with iron, plus throwable kunai and shuriken; Kabuto armor gives a katana attack bonus when worn as a full set, while a full Ninja set enables double jumping.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
