A cozy cottage world for farming, cooking, building, and exploring.

Jinxweed CottageCore is a long-term cottagecore modpack built around exploration, creative building, farming, cooking, collecting, and light and dark magic, with more than 2,500 quests to guide play. Its varied landscapes draw on biomes and terrain from Regions Unexplored, Biome Makeover, Maiden's Marvelous Materials, and Mystic's Biomes, alongside structures from AdoraBuild, Moog's series, Create, and Shrines. Exploration brings fantasy encounters from mods such as Japanese Dungeons & Culture, Goblin's Tyranny, and Youkai's Homecoming, as well as wildlife and companion creatures from Critters & Companions, Fantasy Fauna, Feywild, and Friends & Foes. Players can choose origins such as fae, goblin, elf, or pixie, or become a mermaid, and can visit dimensions including Hanew Village, the Undergarden, and the Ceilands. A broad selection of decorative blocks and furnishings, including Chipped, Beautify!, Handcrafted, and the Let's Do series, supports cottage and village building, with mods that add named villagers and guards. Food ranges from gathered wild berries to dishes from the Delight's mods, Asian Food Cart, Fruitful Fun, and Croptopia Chocolaterie, with drinks such as milk tea and vinery beverages for the journey. Magic includes Hexerei, Magical Relics, Enchanted: Witchcraft, Embers Rekindled, Roots, Goety, Primal Magick, Botania, Malum, and Hexalia, while Diamethysts! offers a mystical weapon option for players who prefer not to focus on magic. Waystones and home and return commands help players get back from trips, while Camerapture lets them take photographs to display or collect in albums, and a Notes mod supports lists and diary entries.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 18 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 10 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 394 of its 402 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 379 of its 385 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 313 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
21 other mods show AI use only from after this release (18 Jul 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
72 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
